TRUMP REMAKING THE AMERICAN ECONOMY..

Recent Gallup Poll indicates a decline in stock ownership by Americans......from the high in 2007 (65.5%) dropping to its current level of 52% today.

The reason(s) for the decline? While there's a number of them the most significant one (stated by most in the poll) was "fear and mistrust". Once burned, twice shy it would appear has taken hold.

You'd think Americans were putting their money (if not into the market) into something else....real estate perhaps. But numbers don't seem to indicate that is happening either: today 63% of all Americans own real estate in one fashion or another. That number, also, has declined from the high of 69% in 2007.

I apologize for the "dating" on the graph below...I did try to find a more up-to-date one but it'll do until someone can find a more recent one:

Any "mistrust" was more than likely due to the Obaminable administration's fake war on Wallstreet and financial companies with the concern they would lose what they had stashed away, so better to take it out and either diversify or invest in something more tangible and controllable even if it meant a downturn in earnings.
