Good places to eat in Vegas?

Most of the chain restaurants... its like going to NYC and having someone recommend Applebee's.

Many of those restaurants owned by the famous chef or TV personality foodies like Emeril - and I can't remember the name of that other guy that's always on TV - are not any good.

I doubt their owners Emeril and others ever step into their own restaurants on a weekly basis and go into the kitchen to make sure everything is running smoothly and prepared correctly the same way they do when they go to other people's restaurants featured on their shows.

All they did was stick their name to the marquee sign and you are paying Mercedes prizes for Hyundai food.

One more place:

Thai Shrimp at UNLV Dining at University of Nevada Las Vegas https://unlv.campusdish.com/Commerce...ate=&Mode=week

That's where Guy Fiori graduated from and learned to cook at.

The UNLV Dining has been featured on Food Network and Travel channel many times.

It's open to the public, not only to faculty and students.

Hash House a Go Go and Eggslut both have really good breakfast. Originally Posted by Cdeezy817

Also, while it may not be fine dining, the little food court in the Paris has some great breakfast croissant sandwiches if you're near there and looking for a quick bite. I think the place is called Paris Baguette.

There have been some great recommendations, I'll just add a tapas place that I like called Firefly: https://www.yelp.com/biz/firefly-las-vegas-9 I like going for a late lunch (because I had a late breakfast, of course...) and getting some small plates and a pitcher of Sangria (they put a ton of delicious fresh fruit in it).
ive gone to vegas every year for the last 10yrs @ about 3 times a year.

I’ve been going to LV multiple times most years since 1980. And I can’t think of a single time that I’ve ever eaten breakfast there. When do you eat breakfast in LV? I’m rarely up much before noon and rarely in bed before 3 to 4 a.m. usually closer to 5 it 6 a.m. And I don’t even go to nightclubs!

Yes. Ramsey’s Burgr is another regular spot.

I can say a big no to the Peppermill which seems to be a common recommended place. They gave you a lot of food but food is really plain and bland imo.
