Most any other public employee, whether it be a school teacher, a school janitor, policeman, soldier, etc., would be fired for this type of transgression. You seem to pick and choose who should resign depending on party affilation. I may be mistaken but that is how it appears to me. So were I advising him, I would say ignore folks like you but listen to your party leardership.
