The one thing I would point to is his tariffs. He was advised against imposing tariffs by just about everyone in his administration yet went ahead and did it. Many companies negatively impacted and prices are rising due to the companies passing on their cost increases to consumers. Obama took over a country in the middle of a great recession and took measures that greatly improved the economy. Trump took over a country in very good shape economically and gave us a tax reform package that was not really needed but one that he had promised and will raise the national debt to record levels this year.
