I'll reserve us a spot at the dumpster behind Vic and Anthony's, complete with a scratching post, fresh kitty litter and a few new catnip toys....

I know people.

See, I'm smiling just thinking about spending quality time with you!

If you were a provider asking the question I'd say in my pants! Since your not though Fogo is pretty damn good bro. Just make sure you show up hungry.
Try some of the bars around Houston that have steak night specials.

Most are just good old fashioned steaks and not the gourmet special cuts like the high end steak restaurants, but for the prices and not having to dress up, you can't beat the deals.
steak on a budget, hands down, goes to Texas Roadhouse. well, I can only attest for their Ribeyes. You need to get at least the 14oz.

Mmmm Yummy Brenners' Steakhouse for the ambiance alone but they do have an amazing Filet Mignon and off topic, but the Stuffed Quail is to die for! Great pick.
The best steak I have ever had is at Cafe Annie on Post Oak... now the RDG Bar Annie.

The second best is at Jeffrey's in Austin.

I like all the best places named: Flemings, the dumpster behind Vic and Antony's, Perry's, Morton's - Hate Papas - the worst service in Houston for the price. But the bestest steak in town is in my back yard, with my wine and cooking, barefoot and naked fifteen minutes after desert is cleared off the table. Just me though.

But before that, their desserts are good also.

I don't rate Taste of Texas.

I go to Pappas in Dallas when I am meeting a new lady to impress....near Onyx club and Dallas Gentleman's club. But they have to be a lady and not embarras me...so no quick take outs from the above clubs, unless they are exceptional.
Not sure why the OP is looking for Houston's best beef cake but whatever twists his nipples...
