Since this has been brought up:
1. The Constitution was written to restrict government, the Bill of Rights (the first 10 Amendments) where included to guarantee the Rights of the People.
2. 99% of medicinal drugs are created in the U.S.A., Big Pharma is who creates new drugs. For every 100 ideas of a new drug, one may make it to market. It also takes about ten years for a drug to get approved by the FDA before it hits the market. Seven years on the market and a drug then is available for other manufacturers to make and sell. More than a few of you are grateful for Viagra, and the thanks should go to Big Pharma.
3. If anyone questions the need for the 2nd Amendment, I will refer you to the Battle of Athens, Tennessee (AKA, The McMinn County War) when the citizens (including WW2 vets) fought back against a corrupt government.
