Now lets see if Obama has "enough vision" to not seek a 2nd term, as did LBJ.
Or will he allow his over-inflated ego to continue to make his decisons.

As for his chances for re-election, the jury is still out! I might add that the jury is still out on whether I will support a second Obama term. Yes, I am disappointed! I certainly would not write Obama off yet. He has a sizable war chest and it appears he will not have a primary opponent. If that is the case, he will have a significant money advantage heading into the fall 2012 elections.
Yes, it is entirely possible for the eventual Republican opponent to emerge victorious in 2012. Their collection of candidates reminds me of the 2004 Democratic candidates. According to polls, the only Republican candidate who matches up favorably with Obama is Romney and he will have difficulty getting out of the Republican primary. The rest of the announced Republican candidates are lightweights.
Before you throw out Perry's name, I would have to believe that America wants nothing more to do with another Texas Governor for a very long while. Talk about over-inflated egos, Perry wrote the book! Due to the weak field, I suspect their best chance for an electoral victory in November of 2012 would be for a viable Independent candidate to emerge from the Left! If that were to occur, anything is possible. Nader has already proven that once!
