Dilbert, They waited till we had to come back to the boat launch to put the boats back on the trailers. You can't go very far on fuel at that speed, we used to bring our own blend of premium/ menthanol in a 55 gal drum, and refill at the dock.
Stick, yeah they can write you a ticket for anything they consider unsafe. They even threatened to take away our boats if we came back and did it again.
