When will you comfortable returning?

The protective shield reminds me of the peep shows many years ago where there were booths with windows and a shade separating the guy and girl. Put in money and the shade goes up and the audio comes on. The girl would dance or model until the time ran out and the shade would go back down.
Maybe the clubs can rebrand as restaurants and open up this weekend. The dancers could be the "servers".
All of the clubs could rebrand as restaurants theoretically, those that have full menus and a kitchen but this far I have only seen club onyx using that strategy. Their gimmick is they are a restaurant with entertainment. They are opening Friday morning at midnight.
Ritz is selling to go meals and drinks with bikini clad girls in the parking lot today and tomorrow.
There was a place in Chicago around the late 90’s this had a plexiglass box with a nude woman in it that would dance and masterbate it had a high cover and then you tip through a slot to get her do do what you wanted. That may work. I don’t know the legality though.
I’d go to a club tonight. I have no problem with physical interaction.
Anyone know what ended up happening at Club Onyx??
The club won a temporary injunction to stay open for a week. There will be a hearing next Friday for a permanent ruling. They claim they are a restaurant now and that means they can open if they have below 25% capacity. They are a restaurant because customers must order food. They can order alcohol but not without food. They claim that they are practicing social distancing rules: (1) All staff including dancers must remain 6 feet away except when delivering food. (2) All staff including dancers must wear masks. (3) Stages are roped off. Customers can leave their tips on stage but must stay 6 feet away from the dancer on stage when they do so. (4) Tables are arranged so that all customers at other tables are at least 6 feet apart.

The owner claimed about 110 customers showed up on Saturday night. I don't know about you but I do not consider this to be a worthwhile activity under these rules. The article did not state whether there was a cover charge, but I'm betting there was none if they operate as a restaurant. Still you are probably looking a minimum $20 outlay for watching some masked topless dancers on stage. After tipping, you will probably spend a lot more than that. I guess if it's a way to have a social activity with a few friends there is still some enjoyment.
Might not be "high value". entertainment, but after two months of lockdown some might find it more entertaining than Netflix.
What ever happened with the Onyx opening??
A second hearing for a permanent ruling took place. The judge ruled that Club Onyx could remain open as a restaurant. However, there could be no dancers of any kind, clothed or unclothed.

When (if?) all the madness and lockdowns end, when will you feel comfortable going back to AMPS and strip clubs? I'm not sure what I think yet! Originally Posted by xfrankx

With this general closure it is my hope that the major players can doo a deep cleaning, even move in new furniture.

Like other businesses, some SC will not re-open. At least not under their old ownership. When they do, there will be a plethora of new dancers trying to make ends meet.
