Desperate people do desperate things and that is just how the fuck it works. It's common sense. For example, you don't join a gang because you live a normal life, these kids do it because they are desperate.

There are no gangs where I live. But I guarantee you if I dropped these spoiled kids off 30 miles South of where I live, that they would be in a gang within a month to survive and become corner boys dealing to make money to eat and killing people to eat to protect their corners and rep in that gang just to survive. It's a different life to survive for them.

Those kids in those cities don't know what else to do. They were born into that bullshit. For many, that's all they know how to survive. Have some empathy for that fact. It's hardly a joke and I hear no "beat" to it old man other than hearing the "beat" to people crying at funerals for loved ones.

Parenting plays a big role which is why I said many were just born into it. Unless you can surpass the bad parenting gap, it just goes on and on and it is passed on from generation to generation because that's all they know how to survive... if kids are not taught right from wrong by a parent, they don't know where to go and it's highly likely they will go wrong so I agree with you if they live in a bad area because they know nothing else to do to eat without proper guidance.
