I guess trumpy still has a team of supporters. Really??? After being used for four years by the master of corruption? Then he begs for more money after getting his fat ass kicked out of the real America white house (dang I hope it was cleaned enough to get all that swamp out). He was laughing at his stupid supporters all the way home...to play more golf

Of course it's not impossible. It happened to the Democrats in 1968 when George Wallace siphoned away enough votes and allowed Richard Nixon to get elected.

I said that no Republican who thinks normally would want this to happen. Trump supporters that will follow him to this new party if it is formed do not think like people of normal intelligence.

And yes there will be disagreements within the dem party. I'm not on board with everything Biden wants to do. I never have been completely on board with any politician. But the odds of some nutcase forming another party and having enough followers to make a difference to the Democrats in future elections is pretty slim right now.

The odds of some nutcase forming another party and doing damage to the Republicans in future elections is pretty high right now.

I hope he does it. I would love to see it. Originally Posted by Jam3768

And by the way, a recent poll suggested that 91% of those that voted for Trump, would do so again, so we're talking about over 63 million people that you have decided, don't have normal intelligence.
You would think it takes work but trump just needs to say it and the cultists will follow. It doesn't have to be organized or legit, where you been the last 4 years. Did you miss the hillbilly rebellion on the 6th? Originally Posted by Trey

But, in 2024, he will have to build his own organization. There won't be any experienced organizers to help him get a party started. The hillbillies you refer to may seek to follow him, but that isn't enough. You need smarts to do it and Trump won't have it.

Also, by 2024, I'm pretty sure a LOT of the Trump base will finally wise up and see they were taken for a ride by a grifter. Trump will have a lot less appeal in 4 years.

But if he can maintain the hillbillies with trump tv or something they will still vote for him or who he says. That amount of dumbasses following this fool will let dems win even more elections. The elections have been close but if you can get like a Republican green party like thing going on it may be enough.

Here's to trump TV, good luck with that trump.

AOC has no power. No one will follow her if she was to spin off. I cant believe y'all still want to try to make her the face of the Democrat Party. I sure hope you know better. She is about as much the face of the Dems as Mo Brooks is the face of the Repubs.

We just had a Dem primary this past summer in which the most Whitebread middle of the road Dem ran away with the field once he got past the least diverse of the states. The moderates are the Dem party. the far left have no sway. Originally Posted by 1blackman1

Sanders and AOC are about as closely aligned on issues as any two members of Congress.

In my younger days I received the following advice from a very wise man. He said "Never overestimate the intelligence of the general population." If as you say -- there are still 63 million people that would vote for Trump again after all his antics since he lost the election -- then truer words were never spoken to me. Ever.
