I think you pretty much nailed it.

Yep. That happens, too. I've been "cancelled" or "ghosted" by a provider before because of this reason. Not always by touring providers, but local ones, too. And then it's just salt-in-the-wound when one of her "regulars" post a review of her.... on the same day and time-frame MY appointment was originally. lol
I find it amazing that so many people commented without even hearing the providers side . You know why the timing was the way it was and I won't comment anymore on the WIDELY detailed comment they allowed you to post in this forum when that usually is a hidden part of a review which is very disrespectful to anyone involved. Sorry for your bad experience .

Of course, the ladies don't tell me if they're cancelling on someone else to see me. Had I known, I definitely would have encouraged them to keep their original appointment.
