Armed Forces Day

If he had a bone spur or spurs that prevented certain movements, it’s a completely legitimate reason to not be drafted/able to enlist. When I retired ~7 years ago, every recruiter had the same problem; the vast majority of men the proper age were either to fat, to stoned or to stupid to be admitted. I’m sure it’s only got worse since.

A good friend who does a lot of hiring for US Steel has the same problem. Upwards of 90% of the potential hires sent to him from the PA jobs-unemployment office can’t pass a physical and/or a basic aptitude test that any 6th grader should ace. These are good jobs too, ones you can support a family on and have a secure retirement.

I wrote about this a couple of years ago....

A buddy of mine works at the VA. He said there's a nice program that gives Veterans over a grand a month in benefits. All you have to do is say you have PTSD. No test. No "proof." Don't even have to have seen combat. Don't have to be wounded or had anything blown off. Could have never left the US. He was told to approve the benefit in almost all applications. I believe the name of it is "service connect."

Dude the largest companies in the world mine your data. You don't have to be important. You're a consumer, and they want your data to sell you shit. They also work with the FBI and they will do whatever they want with your data. This is reality, not a tin foil hat moment. You must be living under a rock to not know this.
