You saw the photo of the inside of that plane crammed with over 600 Afghans, right? Well, the ones swarming the takeoff were those who couldn't get aboard because the crew had to close the fucking on-ramp.Actually there was 800 on the plane. So I guess your saying the soldiers inside the Airport walls couldn’t handle a few hundred civilians that couldn’t get on the plane. They were totally unprepared. They just let them rush out to the runway. And let them hang onto the plane while it took off. And let them dangerously jog next/under the plane while it taxied. What could go wrong? Gotcha
That was a week ago, right after Kabul fell. We haven't seen any more frantic scenes like that since. Subsequent photos have shown Afghans sitting on the tarmac awaiting evacuation, overseen and guarded by our troops. Originally Posted by lustylad

Ok, here’s an Air Force flight manual. It’s a tedious read. But there is a section that says the aircrew has to notify the pilot of an abundance of wildlife occupying the runway. When all hell breaks loose, safety is just a luxury.

That plane was. But give us your explanation of the mob surrounding the plane while it’s moving. If the airport was secure, how does such a dangerous situation happen? Why wasn’t there troops around the plane assisting the pilot taxi? Wouldn’t they see people hanging on the plane? I’m just asking questions. Not like we’ve never been lied to before from our Government or media. Originally Posted by bambino

Then I saw another video on TV supposedly showing people falling off from what looked like an altitude of several hundred feet. Not sure what to believe.
