Prosecutors in soft-on-crime Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office are flooding the exits amid his “radical shift in policy,” The Post has learned.

Bragg’s controversial “Day One” memo issued on Jan. 3 told assistant district attorneys to not seek prison sentences for many criminals and to downgrade some felonies to misdemeanors. His leadership has already created a firestorm that has led to an online petition calling for him to be removed.

“I know one [ADA] who was with the office over 20 years who left without a job,” said a law enforcement source. “They didn’t want to work in this kind of office. They wanted to continue prosecuting the law.”

Over the past two weeks, at least nine lawyers have quit.
News flash for you, most members of this group, and all of the providers are criminals in the eyes of your parasitic police pals. I'd rather take my chances with criminals than be forced to fork over several hundred dollars of the fruits of my labor every year to fund the paychecks, patrol cars, lawsuit payouts and pensions of a gang of blue costume wearing welfare queens whose so called services, I and the majority of other citizens, never wanted, needed or asked for in the first place. DO NOT agree with you on this.
People want PROTECTION from crime and violence.

You are asking some good questions, mate.
Just be willing to listen to BOTH SIDES of the discussion.
The police do some good things also - not just bad.

I’d be willing to bet whomever says they’d like to defund the police or decriminalize the certain criterion presented by the original poster, is a well off white person who’s never lived in a crime infested area. It’s easy to think that why when all of your neighbors are accountants, lawyers and doctors. I’m sure if you lived in nyc or San Fran your tune would change because it’s chaotic.

NEWS: PA Senate President Pro Tempore calls for the impeachment of the Philly District Attorney for dereliction of duty based on his refusal to prosecute criminals.

Just 21 percent of shootings in the City have led to criminal charges since 2015. Of that small percentage, less than one-tenth of the cases have resulted in a conviction.

"When the evidence don't reach - you gotta Impeach!"

.... Hmmm... I'm gonna write that down...
