Also, you don't need to be so condescending to those who want to thank you for your service. My father and several uncles were members of the greatest generation and fought either in Europe of against Japan during WWII, so we all grew up with respect for those who served. During the closing years of Vietnam I was in high school junior ROTC and we had heard from our instructors (SCPO and LCDR Navy) how badly the veterans returning from Vietnam were treated. So over the decades we learned our lesson, to treat the members of our services with respect, maybe buy them breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Both wars in Iraq were fought under false pretenses made up by the USA.
