Fake pics are more of an alert because they are clearly an attempt to give false information, to mislead. If the ad said "For privacy purposes, pics are not me. They are used to illustrate a similar appearance." I would have no problem with fake pics (as long as they *were* similar).

Changing your name and phone number is not an alert in my opinion.

I think most guys who answer these questionable ads aren't serious hobbyists who use places like Eccie and other escort sites. They are likely newbies who see the pictures and are tantalized, not knowing many of them are fake. Sometimes they just have bad experiences with ladies that don't match their ads.
