The Lodge

TL is a piece of work. One time a manager put himself between my face and the talent's body during a dance and asked if I wanted to buy VIP. I asked the guy what the F he was doing. He kept up the sales job and I told the talent I wasn't paying for the dance, the manager was. Needless to say I rocked the boat, but she agreed that one was on the house. I go back to the bar and he persists to try to sell me VIP. He was told to get the F away from me. Next time I was in, same manager told me it was good to see me. Nothing surprises me there.

Lest just call this place what it is. Overpriced and thank god not overhyped. If you like going to a pretentious restaurant and overpaying for your meal because of the ambiance than this place would be for you. Those that enjoy that kind of experience would argue that the ambiance and name of the restaurant justifies the extra cost for the smaller portions. To stay with the analogy you can go here with the VIP and get your Ruth Chris steak if you like. Or take your dollars to baby dolls and eat that still good Outback Steakhouse steak for less money. Or maybe you not too picky about your steak and you just want to eat, so you go to Chicas Bonitas and order up the Steak and Eggs meal at the Waffle House. We all ate steak didn’t we? If I’m spending VIP (Ruth Chris) money then it won’t be at a strip club. I’ll drive down and get the private table at Bobs Steak and Chop House (insert your fav AMP) or 3 Forks (insert your fav studio).
Or do what I’m doing this weekend and heading out of the country to an adult resort for about the same money all in as the VIP at the Lodge where I will sit down at the Brazalian Steakhouse and let them bring around all the different kind of meats I want to sample. That’s the real meal deal, but to each his own.
To paraphrase my own tag line
"Those with Beer tastes criticize those with Champagne tastes
Those with Champagne tastes laugh at those with Beer tastes"

Just because I cannot/will not spend the money to enjoy The Lodge very often does not make it over priced. Just outside my budget. And if I have to travel to another country just to save a few dollars, I will stay home. After airfare, lodging, meals, vacation time spent, etc., I question just how much money is really saved on the entertainment. My tim eis worth a lo tmore to me.

Same thing for $1000 escorts. I have no doubt there are some who are a bargin at that price. Just not for me. Great for you if you have the money to spend.

I may one day take one of these trips. But it will be to enjoy the experiance, not bacause of a club here that I will never enjoy or appricate

Those that are smart find champagne at beer prices. And those that have money typically don’t waste it. Just call me the guy who likes to have nice things at a reasonable price.
It’s much easier to just pay the high price and get what you want, sure, but the hunt is part of the fun for me and the part of the thrill is getting the girl to do more than she thought for less than she planned. (Wink)
LOL when someone trys so hard to sell the story that a place is bad, it's typicaly becasue they want confirmation they are right.

If you just said you don't like the lodge. You enjoy other clubs more, you feel you can get a bteeer bargin elsewhere, that would be just fine. Heck, if the topic comes up about clubs like Dallas Cab North or south, I will voice why I won't go to those clubs. But, there are plenty of guys who like it there. More power to them and they can spend their money where and how they want

But, you are trying too hard to convince peole The Lodge is "over priced" etc. It may be to you, but that doesn't mean it is to others. First thing I say if asked about The Lodge is it's expensive. THat does not make it a bad place

And not all, or even most guys with lots of money just throw it away. They work hard for it and value it. They just have the luxary of being able to spend more than the average guy without any impact to them at all. The few guys I know who are regualars at The Lodge (and to some degree The Mens Club) actualy like that it's prices keep out the average guy. They enjoy the better class of patrons and entertainers.

If you don't like The Lodge, and don't go there, why do you even care?

I really feel like bdd no longer has much to offer to a more professional/white collar customer tbh. I’ve spent a lot of time and money there over the years, but now I’m down to just a couple of girls I’ll get dances from and avoid the place entirely at night and in late afternoons. The talent and the crowd just isn’t my type any more.
TL is a long way from perfect, but it’s becoming my primary club of choice due to the deterioration at bdd imo. If that means I have to pay a little more to get what I want, then so be it. That’s how the market works.
I’m kind of surprised to not see more bdd regulars making that change.

There are guys on here that go to the lodge. I would guess they just don't feel the need to advertize it. It has it's good days and bad, just like any club. But its still a club I enjoy going to from time to time.

As to BDD, things at clubs ebb and flow. It's not a bad idea to take a break every once in awhile. The clubs I go to now have more white collar then blue. And the staff and ladies reflect that. I eather spend more money or perhaps dial down what I expect to happen at the club. With 70 rearing its face, I find I just don't need all the extras I did before so the club itself has become slightly more important than it has in the past. Don't get me wrong, I still like some action, just not all the time any more.

Actually very surprised that no one has brought up the fact the "elite" sports bars have robbed TL and the other "supposedly elite" Dallas strip clubs of their 21-29yo outstanding talent. The women make very similar overall income. They have a bit of every look for everyone's liking. If you are tired of the BS and hustle of the Dallas clubs do some exploring. If you know, you know.

Orlando, the breastaurants have destroyed the pipeline of good strip club talent. That’s a whole different convo.

I went in TL Thursday night and the talent level was incredible. Far more girls there than average and the quality was great.

Now, I did run into one of the worst attitudes/approaches of any girl I’ve seen in a long long time. She was so pushy and the desperation was truly laughable. She was very cute though. But she was definitely the type that gives that club its huge black eye in regards to girls with shitty attitudes. I did have a nice chat with a long time regular girl there who is just a sweet heart.

Tom, your recent experience is very typical and I believe you 100%. If one doesn't find a regular or a sane dancer they get the 1st part of your experience and the bad reputation takes hold even more. Others have said that any critique of this place is due to lack of funds, prestige, etc. If anything the higher class a customer is the worse they get treated if they don't buy VIP or shower an idiot gold digger with more cash than they are entitled to. Instead of Rolex wear a Timex, instead of Polo wear Walmart, instead of being an executive be unemployed and live with family in their garage. Most of them lie, why shouldn't we. Sorry for the rant, glad you have a regular there. My regulars are at the breastraunts.
There are $50,000 millionaire posers in all the clubs. And every club has that few who really do have a lot to throw around and suck the best talent out of the room when they are there. Ah well, on to the next club.

I always dress nice and a little different from a lot of guys and tend to get more attention from the dancers. Not because of the cost of my clothing, (though some items are indeed above normal cost) but because it draws their attention, and they often want to know more about what I am wearing. I get what I want, have a great time on the budget I can afford.

There are pushy broads in all the clubs as well. I learned a long time ago how to get rid of them. And I never judge a club by one or two bad girls. What I do find at the Lodge, and to a lesser degree at all the clubs, is the women are looking for a man who displays the ability to spend a lot of money on them. Why not? It's their time and body. The club caters to more affluent clientele. If you don't know that by now, your reading comprehension is very poor. If you don't have or want to spend the cash to keep up with those who can, DONT GO THERE.

If that's not your scene, don't go there. Lots of clubs out there to pick from. I can't afford to go there often even though I have a really good time when I do. That's not an issue with the club or somehow a bad thing. It simply is.
Another thing,

Many of you try to make it sound like because a man has a lot of money, he somehow is not as smart or savvy as you. Dude, he has a lot of money because he is NOT stupid and is savvy. Very few rich people are stupid. All the rich people I know have it because they worked harder and smarter than others to get it. These girls are NOT taking advantage of them. These guys are getting exactly what they want. And they have the money to get it. A guy I know owns a Lotus dealership and a formula one race team. Do you really think he cares if he drops a thousand in a strip club just to have girls sit with him and entertain him? Yea, right

The simps are those who think they know better than the guys with the money to spend and spend it. Strip club, escort, Only Fans, does not matter. Stay in your own little cheap world and the big boys will stay in theirs. Trust me, they don't even know or care if you exist.

Old, I have NOT criticized you or any type of customer. Read what I wrote. I criticized some of the dancer's attitudes and a manager. You clearly are upset at something and taking your aggravation out on others.Apparently someone else criticized you or your friends for the lack of intelligence or being a sucker, I didn't. I complimented a patron for getting great service there. If you would like to be cheerleader for the place good for you, I hear they sell pom poms on Hillcrest.
