How Do You Say "NO".. Professionally & Politely
I unfortunately had a similar situation when I had to refuse service to a client that had already shown up to his appointment (see KC alert section) This was the first time in 2years I have ever had to turn a client away, and he DID NOT take it well. All would have been avoided had he truthfully filled out his p411 profile, and took time to read my client restrictions clearly marked on my website. Nothing is worse than having to look someone in the eye and tell them "Sorry I can't see you because of______" and hurting their feelings, but just like clients have their 'types', sometimes providers have restrictions, rather is age, race, weight or # of providers he has seen. We have a right to refuse service to anyone, just as a bar, restaurant or any other business, and clients need to respect that not everyone is compatible. Daaamaan handled this as a true gentleman, and as one of his 200+ oks, would have no problem visiting him in the future
Well in any case the truth hurts....... I think you put it as nice as you could with out insulting him.......
Some cannot understand the polite and professional responses. Being a provider you have to remain discrete and diffuse the situation. But wouldn't you just like to shout in the asshat's face, "Take a hike . . . "
