Remember the Alamo, but don't forget the salt shaker!

The US fucked up when American companies that outsourced to Mexico, took those same jobs and shipped them to China and India and Mexicans who depended on those
jobs turn to drug running to survive and illegally immigrate to the US. The only way to fix this Mexican problem is to create jobs for the people and fix the Mexican economy, unfortunately, we have our own problems. This about survival and they are going to survive however they can. I'm sure Bush also considered invading Mexico, but Iraq and Afghanistan became priority.
Two quick comments:
1. Columbia is a city in South Carolina, Colombia is the country in South America, whether using Spanish or English.
2. Been there and worked the drug mission for years in the Armed Forces - it's throwing money down a rat hole. We can keep throwing it down the rat hole and maybe make some people feel good, but it would be much better spent at home especially in light of the current domestic situation.

What is the deal with the majority of Texan citizens' love affair with this sneaky bible thumping governor. His declaration of his opinion on the Mexico situation is absurd. I definitely recommend he do a bit of research on this subject before he makes irrational war plans.
On another note... my favorite Rick Perry quote of this ridiculous presidential campaign is "I don't believe in abortion or global warming because its not in the bible." Well Mr. Perry, neither is geometry and we teach that in your failing public schools.
Lets leave the bible out of this political debate and talk about something relevant to this country.... Possibly the growing national debt that no one seems to be overly concerned about. Humm... what does the bible say about that?

He is falling like a stone now. His best days were before he declared. Then people started listening to what he had to say.

GAME OVER!
