I got a very nice Hawaiin shirt, it was a bit small when I got it, but I've been losing weight and it fits me very nicely now.
For now, its only for special occasions, but, one day I'm going to put it on for its special purpose.
It helps absorb the sweat under your body armor, good stuff, class 4, it will stop an Armor piercing AK round.
I don't gamble, instead, I buy neat toys, night vision, thermal rifle scopes, infrared lasers, suppressors, lots of precious metals, mainly brass, copper and lead.
I was considering becoming a night time deer culler, some places pay you to do that service, as they did out in Upper Saint Clair when the population was out of control, but I just can't pull the trigger on something that isn't threatening me, or that I don't need to eat, I feel its morally repugnant to take an animal and not utilize it.
In my life, I have used a weapon, to stop three potential crimes, one road rage when a screwed up dude got out of a moving car in a mask and charged me, another when two crackheads were attempting to steal a travel trailer on our property, and once in an alley in downtown Pittsburgh when two nice fellows decided they wanted to see the potential money in my pockets, I instead showed then what I had in the one pocket.
Now, I consider myself a pleasant, peaceful person, but, there are thing in my life that I will defend, friends, neighbors, family, my property and my life.
The nice thing is, I live around people that feel the same way, and I know if things get bad, fires, floods, power outages, they will help if needed, I was offering spare generators to neighbors when our power was out for a few days recently.
I can say with certainty, the conservatives I know, aren't in any way, like the OP posted about in the original post, I KNOW, conservatives are good people.
And that's the point that is visibly showing in this thread, lots of anger, lots of aggression about what the left is going to do to all of us evil, Nazi, racist, retarded, fascist folks you see us as.
I assure you, deep down we are none of those things.
But, when you threaten us, or me, its not just overlooked, its noted, and not forgotten, situational awareness is part of "Personal Responsibility", as is being able to defend you and yours.
I am prepared and more to do so.
