What are your thoughts on this? Insurance that tracks your driving.

I do not remember the exact amount of the discount, it was a couple of years ago, but it was nothing earth shattering. Maybe a discount of $30 a month at most. Originally Posted by CurvyKatie

do you think they would look into that & possibly deny my claim? Originally Posted by Brooke Wilde

Transmission should be covered under the policy

I guess this didn't work out good for me. I figured my rate would increase a bit after they monitored my driving, but it never occurred to me that they would cancel my policy.

I've never been in an accident, have not had a ticket on my record in 6 or 7 years & no DWIs or DUIs. I drive fast, but not obscenely fast. I never break hard. I double & triple check when turning into traffic or switching lanes. I'm a very conscious driver.

Oh well, I guess if this is the way I want to live my life, I have to pay the piper.

Now I'm off to find a new insurance carrier

The thing that bugs me about insurance is the STATE requires you to have liability so the STATE should set the base price and allow insurance companies to mark it up say 20 bucks for an account handling fee.

More people would have liability as it would be affordable.
