So skipping over the other banter...

Little Stevie, how can you set an example of being a shining beacon to the tea party nuts if you justify your plagarism by citing theirs?

Just cite your source next time instead of taking credit for the idea as your own.

Steve the only reason the old testament is OLD is because of what Jesus accomplished when he was here. The veil was torn and a NEW testament was born.

Everyone picks a chooses pieces. Jehovah witnesses for example don't believe in hell but it's right there in black and white in THEIR bible. (that's one of the things I learned in Mexico...) I'm not saying it's right, wrong or indifferent.

The rules are real simple... Love each other and the lord your God. Everything else is someone's dogma in one way or another.

My belief is Abortion is Murder. God might feel differently, who knows... but I bet he doesn't. If anyone that has even 3 brain cells does any amount of research on what actually happens during an abortion would never ever ever ever ever condone such action. I have lost friends over this topic because I will never bend on it. I can't support murder. I try and support my friend but it's damn hard and I don't always succeed.

From having debated with you Stevie since 2004, I know we will never agree on anything political or moral. What you write looks as ridiculous to me as what I write looks ridiculous to you.

I think in the end we want the same thing. Our country, our freedom. If you are correct in all your arguments then we have nothing to worry about so who cares what the Right says. If WE are right, you are fucked. I've said many times, I'd rather be made fun of with a full belly and lots of work than point and laugh while we are starving on the street.

Bible, smible. It's the Constitution dummy, none of the so called "social issues", abortion, prostitution, dr***, homosexuality, healthcare, etc. are addressed in the Constitution as being ANY of the federal government's business. All of these things are therefore the business of the states and the people as per the tenth amendment.

The problem with Roe v. Wade isn't that it "legalizes" abortion, it's that it takes away the right of the states and the people under the tenth amendment to decide for themselves if it will be legal in their state.

+1
Ah, the states rights argument. What say you about eight states now in the process of legalizing same sex marriage and others lining up to do the same? And you say it is not about Roe v. Wade? LOL I really doubt any on the far right are OK with states allowing abortion any more than they are OK with those states allowing same sex marriage!

A little more from the "scientists" who think after birth abortion should be legal, in all cases.

Here is my take on this little piss bucket that has been tipped over.

The Bible is a story book.

Are parts of it true? Yes.
Are parts of it contradictory to other parts of it? Yes.
Are parts of it false. Yes.

Have meanings changed over time? You bet.
Has it been tampered with over time? You bet. (translations)
Has the standard of life changed since it was put together? You bet. (think about it will your reading this on your phone or tablet(oops) as you drive to the hospital to get your little procedure done)
Welcome, Mr E!

A non-absolutist is refreshing these days.

You wouldn't happen to know where Noah put the pterodactyls, would you?

Of course that question is linked to the assumption that their extinction did not predate the "great flood".
Poor Lost Steven.
