Nevermind it's still happening, but it's not as bad on Yahoo. I can navigate a little easier!

I just surfed in to Eccie here (I'm automatically signed in) and my Norton's just popped up a bunch of alerts: malicious toolkit website 9 (it says, attacking computer and website is: wearetheworldzaga.nl.ai) Does that nl mean Netherlands?

Just a REMINDER: folks, if this board ever DOES go down for a while, I hope you all have backup sites to peruse til it comes back up and ----> girls...that you have other sites that you advertise on and not "just" this board and ---> guys...that you have noted somewhere the numbers and emails and web sites of your favorite gals so you're not at a loss if your favorite board goes down for awhile.

Thank you

People STOP saying it is fixed just because your computer APPEARS to be ok for a couple of hours. It is NOT fixed yet and like Mokoa said, once the site is scanned and verified that the virus is GONE, the threat is still here. as of 3:03AM NOTHING has changed since yesterday morning. I am still getting attacks, reports & Blocks from Kaspersky, and my media player is still popping up with malware attacks. NOTHING has changed & NOTHING is fixed yet. so just keep blocking YOUR computer from these attacks until Eccie fixes it, with your anti-virus software. It APPEARS that everytime you Log in, change threads, surf, or refresh is when these attacks occur. CHAT Appears to be unaffected as far as i can tell.

If they stop getting errors for a period of two hours, it is just as important
that they report that it seems fixed. This is an indicator of whether or not current steps to erradicate the virus have been effective.

That is not what Mokoa said at all. Google is not going to run scan after scan against eccie after each cleaning attempt. Eccie is attempting to remove the virus(es) once they are pretty sure they have (in part based on our feedback), then they will have Google scan and re-certify eccie.

Mokoa is simply talking about the "attack site" tagging that Firefox and other browsers/AV use (via Google's registry of known virus delivering sites)

To everyone who is contributing, Thanks! Please keep posting NEW info as it occurs (and yes, please specify your windows/mac/linux/unix, Browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome), and your Antivirus brand - any specific messages (insights) they are providing that haven't already been posted.

Totally NOT cool attacking eccie. Instead of spreading viruses, some people just need to get laid! Then they wouldn't be so p*ssed off at the world!

Here are a few NEW ones that kaspersky detected:
The Old ones that people mentioned are still here

TROJAN PROGRAM EXPLOIT.Java.CVE-2011-3544.kc
Unknown Threat.UDS Dangerous Object.Multi.Generic
Malicious URL Http:\\fb-sv02.com\main.php
Malicious URL Http:\\Update-kb18628311.com/check.php?date=

So I totally disagree that it is FIXED as other posts have said.

I do not want cast a shadow on Eccie, but this virus is known to go after servers first and then disperses outbound when people sign in.

Here is what AVG Threatlabs says-
http://www.avgthreatlabs.com/webthre...kit-detection/

Everyone should update their Virus Protection immediately. Originally Posted by jframe2

Info:
Eccie's server company attempted to erradicate the virus yesterday. They did a full scan on their servers at around 8p and everything looked clear. But this friggin virus is agile. I have also notice that it is mutating. So today's version is a little bit different than yesterday's...

FACTS:
The site is still working as it always has. It just "has a cold".
So if your virus protection blocked the php attempt when you entered the site, you are Ok and can keep browsing around the site and going to various forums. If you didn't get a message saying the attack was blocked, it's too late, you are probably already infected, it happened the first time you logged on to eccie.

This virus is smart in hiding, but dumb in its attack. It is prepending the same attack to each page request. Again, so if you blocked it, you will block every attempt.

This above is true as long as the virus doesn't mutate and start attacking a different way. If it does mutate, your best defense, again is to have up to date anti-virus definitions.

Stay vigilant my friends!

My microsoft essentials has stopped this one a dozen times yesterday and today. It identified it as EXPLOIT:JS/Blacole.AR - whatever that means.
