Pretty sad that such a simple fact still eludes many "seasoned" providers. When a guy asks for your availability, there's a hint of chivalry there.

Additionally, when he's casting a wide net because he knows at least 5 out of the 6 ladies he's contacting won't reply, he doesn't want to run into the fluke of 3 ladies replying with "yes" to a specific date and time and then he has to cancel on 2 of the ladies he still probably would have gone to see....fucking run-on sentences, don't you just abhor that shit?

First guy admits he's "shopping around" and now you admit that you're "casting a wide net." It's no wonder the ladies often do not respond to general inquiries about their availability. I think they realize that often the guys are just seeing what's out there and even if they're serious, they're likely to go with someone else. No point dealing with a time waster when there's another guy asking to meet at a specific date and time.
