Ok. so let me ask the providers this question....and I come in peace!!!!

I pass a provider's screening process, then I book an appt 2 weeks in advance.

Now here is the tricky part....one week b4 the appt I call and let the provider know that I will be unable to make that appt. But very much would like to re-schedule at a later date.

Does the reason why, I am not able to make the appt, make any difference the provider???? (i.e. I am seeing someone else on original date).

Just trying to get some insight...keeping in mind that I gave the provider a one week advance of my cancellation????
If you give a week's notice when cancelling, it shouldn't matter. The provider has enough time to make up the lost appointment.

Now, keep in mind if you tell her a story that you're going out of town and then you end up booking with someone else, then writing a review.....you'll be blacklisted with the lady you cancelled on. At least that's what I would do.

Providers should be the one person a hobbyist doesn't have to lie to.
Yah it isn't the cancellation, it's the elaborate and unnecessary lies. I don't give a fuck who you fuck. But at least treat me with a little respect.
But do providers try to assume shit as to why you cancelled...first of all what if you didnt see someone else and the cancellation was in fact a personal reason that you wish not to share

Ive had a provider automatically assume I was lying and then just blast me for it...
I aint takin that crap off them....

Listen providers lie just as much as clients ....we all fucking lie...but try to take someone at their word and stop assuming or making an ass of yourself
IMO of course
We lie because we are living out YOUR fantasy. We lie because you don't need to know about our lives. The smart providers don't need to lie to you about our business affairs because its none of your business, so we just don't talk about it.

And don't lump all of us ladies into your sterotype. We're not all alike, just like not all hobbyists are alike.

When I need to cancel, ..with proper notice....I really don't plan on giving an explanation. The only thing that should matter to her is that I am giving her advance notice.

This way, everything is simple, and no explanations or lies are needed. But again, none of that last minute stuff or NS by either side

I like to try and keep the logicists as simple as possible...and save the "complex stuff' strictly for the play time.

+1 vkmaster. I typically am a short notice guy (a couple of day or a few hours if it's someone I know), so I don't usually have a cancellation problem on my end. I also have no problems if a gal has to cancel on me as long as she lets me know.

I don't need any details, just a "sorry I can't make it tonight" as early as possible and not an hour after the date was scheduled. Also, most of us (on both sides of the fence) can smell BS, so please don't make up some lame excuse, it hurts your credibility and will make it less likely that I will try to reschedule.

Notice is always welcome. I have to drive at least 40 minutes to see providers in the northland so if a provider NC/NS's me is really sucks. Best case I waste 80 minutes of driving and most likely 15-20 minutes of waiting and gas. I haven't had any issues yet, but it would suck if I got stood up after driving all that way. Living in St. Joseph just sucks in general lol.

Cancellations work both ways, don't lie and let them know ASAP. I've had providers cancel on short notice on me and I've had to cancel with short notice with providers. I had a hell of a time hooking up with a provider on this board - I got sick, roads were two icy to travel, sent out of town on business at the last minute - shit does happen.

Does either party need to provide a reason, no, but if you do just lay it out. Don't make crap up.

Once I had a provider cancel and she told me that a regular called and wanted an overnight session. She was nice about it, not telling me, but asking if I minded, but I knew what would have happened if I did mind. Can't place blame on her, it was a shrewd business move and she would have been crazy not to take the overnight. She was honest, we rebooked and she did make it up to me.

My opinion is if a client gives proper notice (like VK said a week) then I dont feel we have to explain why we are cancelling...Right? agreed?

But yet we get pinned down by some with an attempt to catch us or assume the reason we are cancelling is a lie....and then we get blasted for it.....

The other thing is providers lie...clients lie...hell Im lying right now! LOL
