SEALS Respond to Obama Campaign

Bush landed on the flightdeck of the Lincoln and (Hollywood aside) it is required to wear the flight suit as you call it in case you go in the water. You also have to be restrained for the gs that you pull when you stop.

Once again Big Tush argues from a point of ignorance. All ships do something special when they return from a deployment and it is usually sponsored by the Welfare and Recreation Fund as it was in this case.

Bush flew F-106s back in the day. The Delta Dart had a reputation as a widow maker.

Let me get this straight, a former Navy Seal who is now a Republican State Senator is saying the President is using this to get elected? Did this former Navy Seal use the fact that he was a Navy Seal to get elected? This former Navy Seal is now just another politician. Who cares WTF he thinks? Besides you Tea Wackers...

Ryan Zinke, a former Commander in the US Navy who spent 23 years as a SEAL and led a SEAL Team 6 assault unit, said: ‘The decision was a no brainer. I applaud him for making it but I would not overly pat myself on the back for making the right call.

‘I think every president would have done the same. He is justified in saying it was his decision but the preparation, the sacrifice - it was a broader team effort.’

Mr Zinke, who is now a Republican state senator in Montana, added that MR Obama was exploiting bin Laden’s death for his re-election bid. ‘The President and his administration are positioning him as a war president using the SEALs as ammunition. It was predictable.’

Retired Admiiral Mike Mullen disagrees with the Obama on this one. Mullen was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the time of the raid, and in the situation room at the time of the compound attack. That is him standing up behind in the video....
"I do worry a great deal that this time of year that somehow this gets spun into election politics. I can assure you that this individuals who risked their lives, the last thing in the world that they want is to be spun into that. So I’m hoping that doesn’t happen. "

President Obama is getting desperate -- and it shows

It is fashionable to be jaded about a presidential campaign, to complain there’s nothing new and tune it out. Not this one. Watch it, or you’ll miss the antics of an incumbent who has no scruples and no regard for the majesty of his office.
President Obama’s team put out an ad praising him for sending in Navy SEALs to kill Usama bin Laden and doubting whether Mitt Romney would have done it. To further exploit the one-year anniversary of Bin Laden's death, he gave an interview to NBC in the Situation Room, from where he observed the raid. And The Wall Street Journal revealed that the Obama campaign has an enemies list, a group of Romney donors it singles out by name on a Web site while declaring some got rich “at the expense of so many Americans.”
As outrageous as those breaches of decency are, they are merely the latest extension of Obama’s polarizing presidency. His tenure threatened, he is growing desperate, almost pathologically so. And it’s only April.
Where once it was rare for a politician or a commentator to accuse a president of lying, it happens routinely now. Obama’s speeches are filled with distortions and fabrications. Even members of his own party don’t trust him, regarding him as ruthlessly selfish. “An uncurious man,” said one.
House Speaker John Boehner called the president’s use of Air Force One for campaign events disguised as official business “pathetic” and added: “This is the biggest job in the world, and I’ve never seen a president make it smaller.”

It is a train wreck for America, unfolding before our eyes. Sad to say, but it makes me nostalgic for the days of Bill Clinton, when it was only sex that shamed the Oval Office.

Fuel for thought: If Obama would have had a photo op on an aircraft carrier to announce OBL had been killed, wearing a flight suit under a MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banner, the Wing-Nuts would have gone absolutely bonkers!!!!!

Apparently you had a generous portion of Kool Aid to sweeten your morning cup of java.

notice how the story is run out of the UK? The media in the USA doesn't have the balls to run such a story. Seems like the rest of the world can see through NOBama's BS but not our media.

Just my own political forcast.

Aren't Presidential elections fun BT?
In our Political System, the President is the Commander in Chief.

He gets the credit for the successes, as well as the failures.

President Carter was made a laughing stock because of that failed plan to free the Iranian Hostages. If the plan to kill Osama had failed, It would have been blamed on President Obama.

He made the call, he gets the credit. If the American Electorate thinks he is crowing too loudly about it, they have the choice of not voting for him in November.

Thank you, Jackie. I will exercise the option of not voting to re-elect President Obama.
You put too much faith in an illiterate electorate that couldn't tell ya who the axis/allied armies were, but know who the Kardashian's are dating.
