The flip-o-meter gave him a half flip.

The MA assault weapons ban was part of a bigger law that made sporting weapons and right to carry more easily obtained. A compromise which was heavily negotiated between pro-gun and anti gun lobbyists and lawmakers.

While I don't like the idea of banning any weapons it definitely was the lesser of two evils and when it comes to defending the second amendment I'll take my chances with Romney over BO anytime. Originally Posted by boardman

Are you saying, CBJ7, that the Constitution is in safer hands under Obama than it will be under Romney?

Neither one has a whole hell of a lot of respect for it from what I can see.

Ooohh! Ok then. Just because you don't understand what I'm saying. I told you, have someone read it to you.

But if you think the Constitution is safe with Obama, your comprehension problems are greater than what we can deal with here.

Suit yourself. Let me know how Obama preserves your gun rights. I'd like to know how that turns out.

part of a deal or not, a BAN is a BAN

when give and take legislation forgets about the 2nd amendment said legislation is unconstitutional.

PERIOD.
