Norway has a population roughly equal to the greater Houston area. It's barely even a real country. Comparing Norway's standard of living to America is meaningless. It's like comparing America to Monaco or Liechtenstein. The population of Norway is about that of Israel, and the races of those respective countries have ranged around broadly in the past.

Today both Norway and Israel are tremendously important countries, not despite their reasonable population sizes, but because of it.
Both societies are not composed of any "economic pyramid" in which individuals of their national race are exploited or held down.
In both societies all people of the national race are of equal status.
In contrast the United States and hierarchical societies like it have 90% of the population at the bottom who don't count for much.
