have an SO, i am too air headed to have 2 phones, my one phone and is a trac phone. If i had two, i would eventually screw up and use the wrong on, or leave it somewhere, and if the SO found two, that would lead to questions.

Then use your SO's phone for hobbying. Wrong numbers happen all the time.

He got busted. He should seriously consider laying low or exiting the hobby for a year or two. His wife's alert system will be fully operational and she will catch him again. Not only that, even if he never hobbys again he will be surprised how many times the wife will question him about his activities. The wife will be insecure going forward.
