This quote is true,but it might take alot of time, my quick story,this gal was my best bud, we just never could hook up, I was the guy that she called when some other guy dumped on her, she always picked the losers, but she was a dear friend and we were always goin somewhere together, a few years back she developed ovarian cancer, she passed away a year ago today, just got off the phone with her mom talking of old times, I am sad today also, but I know she is so much better now, ......it will get better....promise.

Travelmind, he is giving you some sage advice. In my experience they contact you, probably more than once. I had been warned to be prepared for a particular woman to ask to be taken back. And that I should give it serious thought as to what I would do say when it happened.

I wasn't prepared for the semi monthly drop by of venting / bawling / screaming / quivering.

I went through more civilians than I'd want to admit after an ugly, hurtful breakup, and it didn't help.
