Hurricane Isaac - To stay or to go ? That is the question.

Thank the gods that we're done with Isaac. I wondered if it would ever move on. Rode the storm out at home all buttoned up - went out a couple times despite the curfew to check around the neighborhood. Just a bunch of debris and no real damage. Had power most of the time, but still I got a bit antsy inside for that long.

Hopefully no one had any real damage.

We lost power about 48 hours ago. I heard saying it should be up by Sunday! Bummer.

It's nice to know that I have some of my hometown from VA here down on the coast and also helping out over in Slidell with things that need to be done to get people back and on their feet. Seeing all the power trucks headed in Louisiana directions was pleasing to the eyes and heart as well.

Isaac who? For me it was good - a few days off work, never lost power, and a chance to play some video games that I rarely get!

I have not had power since tuesday......I am chilling at my kids off magazine st cause they got lights today...whoop whoop!
