San Antonio Meet & Greet Happy Hour - Tuesday, September 18

Final count = 55 and we extended an hour so all having fun could.

Had a great time Thanks CK and Mokoa.
I enjoyed seeing old friends and seeing several new ones.

Let us please remember to never mention anyone who attended until they mention themselves first.

I had another wonderful time as always.

Not to quibble with any of the above, but the real success of any event relies on the participants!

Looking ahead to the Hollow Weenie, right now the plan is to have space for slightly more than 100 attendees, assuming all are in the space at the same time, which doesn't happen often. Which means up to 125 might be able to attend as have in previous years.

We're expecting folks from Dallas, Austin, Houston and other distant communities.

The annual Hollow Weenie Masquerade Gala will also have extended closing, but still start at 4:30 pm.

Yet to be decided:

-- A 5 to 10 dollar cover charge for the gents to fund an appetizer buffet much like last year's which would run from approximately 6 pm to 7 pm. Otherwise, per the usual, zero cover charge.

-- Prizes/awards for best costume, most imaginative costume

-- Fun contests

-- Furthest distance traveled award

-- "Give-a-ways" (door prizes)

and other "stuff" that might be of interest.

And, not to jump to far ahead, but planning for the annual XXX-MAS gathering is also under way. More on that later.
