Talked to a man over 80 today. Bad eye problems and a bad back. He got eye surgery but instead of doing all 3 problems a once. Which his doctor told him should have been done. He had to have 3 seperate surguries. Because of Ostupidcare laws that are in effect it cost 3 times as much.

It doesn't surprise me you would know a doctor like that. He's obviously one who left the profession some time ago....but he likes the pay so he still punches in.

Like I said before, there is a lot of division in the medical profession over health care versus disease control. Some of these fuckers can't stand the thought of having to downsize from a 700 series BMW to a 500 series, and oppose anything that might reduce their income.

Hospitals are nervous because primary care centered healthcare (like Obamacare wanted to be) keeps people out of the hospitals and emergency rooms. It saves a lot of money. Insurance companies are scared shitless by that, as are the big drug companies. Not to mention the radiologist who makes 800K a year but never sees a single patient.

It is all about making fewer sick people. Healthy people cost less to cover.
