I’m with Ansley, I’m sure it goes on. I wouldn’t want it to happen to me. My guess it is more confined to women brought here illegally, but I really have no basis for my hypothesis. I don’t think it is an on-every-street-corner / Bangkok-type problem that the billboards around Houston make it out to be, but I don’t think it is as limited as you seem to think it is.

I do agree with you however that it is a moral crusade. There are plenty more, widespread problems that plague women on the fringes of our society; they just aren’t as interesting as prostitution, slavery and underworld, secret depravity.

When I wrote what I did, pimps didn't even come into my mind. I am speaking of people that work in other countries that either coerce, threaten,manipulate and kidnap people. Human trafficking goes further than just the sex trade.
