Please excuse my typo. I do know it is tongue in cheek, but your probably won't believe that either.Typo? Really?
Really? You never went to a public school? How about a public university? Ever receive a Pell Grant? An FHA Mortgage? Or how about a SONYMA mortgage? You've never received unemployment? A student loan? Small business loans? Ever worked for someone who started their business with the help of a government loan? Participate in the NYS STAR program? Receive a rebate check from it?Luckily my parents sent me to private school. Paid for college out of my pocket. Obviously not Harvard. Have always rented, never had a mortgage. Never had a business loan. Never participated in STAR program. Never received unemployment luckily. I was referring to things like welfare and food stamps. I wouldn't consider public education government assistance. That's paid for by considerable taxation. But I get your point and it is well taken.
I could go on, but i'm guessing the point's been made. Originally Posted by Doove
