well done dave. you are right about that. i feel its not the providers that makes a city a great hobby place it the guys. these providers see whats goes on in new orleans. better guys well bring better providers. also said we only have only a hand full of good providers that all ways get good reviews and drama free. even new orleans Agencies is a joke. we have 1 or 2 good agencies. i been in the hobby around 5 years. i seen only a few good providers that came in and stayed awhile.

Well, if it wasn't for all the loser fuck-nuts who insist on negotiating and harassing the ladies to lower their rates, schedule and cancel last minute or no-show and constantly call with a million questions and never book we'd still have more high caliber local and traveling ladies. New Orleans and the south are the laughing stock of the hobby world because of all the nutless wonders who pull this crap constantly. There are so many women who will never return here thanks to all the dickweeds who just waste their time. It's too bad they ruin it for the rest of us. Nope, can't argue with you there as this is something that I've been combatting for as long as I've been in the hobby.....It wasn't such a bad deal when I was traveling a lot for business and had to go to places with much more entertainment.....I remember many visits to Hotlanta, Big D, Nawlins/BR, and Memphis where the choices of poon were quite plentiful and for the most part it was fine quality poon that understood what being a courtesan was all about.....Oh the memories.....

CT is another place I prefer not to spend much time in, but the quality of guys I did meet made up for the hassle. I just got back from Nashville and in FIVE DAYS, not ONE cancellation or last minute appt. lol. They not only showed up ON TIME, but they simply know how to treat a woman and tip very well even though I prefer anything above my rate to go to a charity.

I never really had a problem with cancellations in nola because I don't normally book more than one or two a week, but when you are a touring girl forking out over a grand to get here, that stuff really hurts. Girls determine where they will visit based on the number of pre-bookings they aquire, before purchasing airline tickets and booking a hotel room. If she has 10 bookings and 6 cancel without giving her a chance to fill those spots, she is not going to jump at the chance to go back to that city.

Another thing I have noticed is that in other areas guys actually GIVE you a cancellation fee...sometimes that entire fee if they have to cancel!! Talk about courtesy!! That's not something you hear happening much in nola.

It all depends on the provider and the amount of bills she has to pay every month. For some of us, 8 clients a month vs. 8 a week is all we need. Others NEED to make a certain amount of money every single week just to stay above water because they have too many bills they can't pay otherwise.

Respect and common courtesy both go a long way, and so does having a back up plan. When I meet a client for the first time, I always have another prospect on stand by just in case...stuff happens, and I am far too busy to waste time on guys who may not even show up much less give me a portion of my fee if they don't.

I have a lot of local regulars that I see on a monthly basis, but most of my big business comes from out of town. I learned that a long time ago lol. The one thing I will say about nola...especially aspd and eccie guys, is that they READ lol. When these guys contact us they include handle, refs, cell number, date and time etc. They pay attention to what a lady has on her site concerning preferences, etc. and that's a big plus. That alone saves us a ton of time pulling teeth to get the screening info we need to book with someone.

That was my point.....While the guys do have a few good local options from which to choose, one of the major drawing points to this lifestyle is the opportunity to meet with variety, meaning having some of the top level touring ladies come in for a spell.....Hypothetical here:

A lady posts an inquiry about the area and gets a ton of emails/PMs of interest.....She then posts a tour and gets around 25 guys making the so called "pre-bookings" and so she accomodates by scheduling and booking a room for 5+ days.....Gets down there and then all of a sudden guys start canceling on her (10 cancelled at the last minute so she couldn't fill those time slots), she gets NCNS by another 7 guys which means she couldn't fill those time slots, and she complained of a few guys arriving late (but at least they kept in touch and since she had more free time than she originally planned, it wasn't such a big deal anyway----lol).....

Ok, obviously this wasn't a hypothetical because I had a provider complain to me with this exact scenario.....She thought what was going to be a pretty good tour for her and it turned out to be a dud.....Not that seeing 8 guys at $$$ didn't make money (and I know she said a couple of the guys were multi-hour visits and she also said the ones that showed up did tip her well), but the point is that she didn't come anywhere close to meeting the expectations since she had 25 pre-booked appts.....With all the cancellations and NCNS, even though she did see several guys, I can understand her frustrations and unwillingness NOT to return to NOLA/BR.....The bottom line is that a little bit of respect and consideration goes a long way.....If you book an appt., then show up for the event.....If you must cancel (life does get in the way), then give as much notice as possible but by all means "GIVE SOME KIND OF NOTICE OF YOUR INABILITY TO MAKE THE VISIT".....If you let her know you can't make it, then she may be able to fill it with a standby who can.....Just respect and consideration here (and for the record that should go both ways so when you ladies can't make a visit, contact us and let us know just in case we might be able to make use of that time with a standby).....

This subject has been hashed out here on many previous occasions and for some reason it appears as though things are NOT improving any and in fact, they're getting worse down there.....So when you guys reach the point to where none of the top notch ladies want to waste their time even bothering to schedule down there, just remember that you'll only have yourselves to blame.....I'm just saying.....

I do not know what others do. I know myself I have cancelled, rarely but it happens. I always give as much notice as possible, once it was last second. I had an appt. booked for 4PM I actually got sick that day with a fever. I called the lady at about 3:30PM and asked her what she wanted me to do. I told her I was sick but I was still willing to show, but I further explained my desire that I not get her sick. I let her make the decision, she decided to re-schedule. That is my only last minute cancellation I can remeber.

My schedule is very volatile and if I make an appt. I really do have to shuffle things around, I do not think the ladies realize how much I have to manipulate to make time for this hobby. I know I am the customer but when I make an appt. for only an hour it is because after that hour I have things to do, so when they ask me to wait 30 minutes it has the potential of ruining my schedule. Being asked to wait in the vehicle at a hotel drives me up a wall, I cannot tell you how many times that has happened. Or making an appt. showing up and the lady says "I was not sure you were coming." WTF? ask. And these are well reviewed travelling ladies, I do not see ladies that are not well reviewed. So, I agree the consideration goes both ways. I certainly understand running late once in a while or getting sick or life happening. I just do not want to show to the hotel and get the txt that it is cancelled (which has happened, more than once).

What is the solution? Really there is none. I cannot control what other people do, I can only control how I react and what I do. I try to always treat others with respect and courtesy, simple.

I do know in my line of work I have worked the numbers for potential new clients. I spend hours and hours attempting to make the sale with about a 1/3 success rate, some weeks are better than other weeks. So, if I spend the money, time, and effort and I only make a little - so what - next week will be better, and the guy that did not hire but only attemtped to get free service from me, he sometimes ends up coughing over the bucks for my time. I live a good life that I can afford to hobby and live very comfortably. I am lucky, so I choose not to complain when my business is not doing well, I just decide to change my marketing or something and usually business picks up. If I blame the customer for my business woes, I would not have been as successful as I have been, that simple. I can only change me. And in my experience different locations have very different marketing for success.

Just my .02, I know I am not going to change and most corporations do not look at how do we change the market, they look at how do we change to be successful in that market.

But then again Bill Gates has not called lately for my advice.

It appears that the wonderful higher class providers are able to identify who appreciates them. Looking at the ads on bp the arrogance of the lower class shines bright. They obviously know they are not in the same league as the ladies who have been mentioned here as being the best in the south. They are no competition for true beauty and class, as those I will stick to seeing, and my generous wallet will prove that to be true.

I think there is an associated risk with any lady that is touring, especially if she doesnt have enough info out about her. But I think you can build stable regulars by at least being available. Not all hobbyist have the luxury of prebooking and some are avialiable only on short notice.

If those touring providers are worth the coin and they are posting a touring ad, best believe the regulars have already been alerted and have probably already booked. I think this cancellation/ncns situations happen to ladies who have not come during an opurtune time when good reliable hobbyist were avbailiable to facilitate a trip.

I may be a tad biased in this regard cause I book multi hours, and if I cancel its far in advance. I havent had one issue at all in or out of state booking who I wanted to see. The chance of me cancelling after a lady has made a flight is fairly small, and at that point a cancellation fee of some sort would definitely be in order. I'd stick out like a sore thumb if I did that. lol

Her screening process from what I heard is pretty rigorous. So if I was a new client I'd find that to be a little unnerving. But would it be kosher on the flip side if that potential hobbyist had a plan B and decided to cancel on her for the first touring smoking provider he wanted at that time. What if his provider reference offered him a better deal locally than what she offered after she verified him. Would that be cool too reciprocally, or just compound the ncns/cancellation issue? I know some ladies wont even call refs no matter how many you have on p411 for this reason alone. Sometimes its been known to occur.
