I totally respect the screening process many use, e.g. P411 or two recent references from providers. I agree it is a good idea. But I'm no longer OK with it myself. I used to have P411 but got uncomfortable with some aspects so dropped it this year. I tend to make last minute plans and in my experience other providers don't respond quickly to reference requests. At least not the ones I've seen. Heck, it can be hard getting the gal you want to see to respond within a few hours. And yeah I've tried the pre-screening route but it is a hassle and like I said my plans usually have to be made at the last minute. A PM from ECCIE is no problem for me and I've made some new friends that way
. Anyway I end up visiting someone I already know, someone OK with ECCIE or just hitting a spa.
So the screening process makes sense but the gals (should) know they are cutting out part of a potential client base. Some of those clients may be scum or carrying badges, but some aren't. Given my decision I know there are some great gals I'll never meet. And we all live happily ever after.
