Liberal group attacks senators wife with racial slurs

Thanks for the story JD. Once again, the libertards are exposed for the hypocrites they really are.

Yes. The libertards at Progress Kentucky are attacking her because of her place of birth and her Chinese ethnicity. The implicit insult lays in the libertard left’s insinuation that Chao is not and cannot be a loyal American because she was born in Taiwan even though she immigrated at the early age of eight and became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. Originally Posted by I B Hankering

She was the first Asian Pacific American woman and first Chinese American to be appointed to a President's cabinet in American history (wiki).

Progressives like to insist that the 9 states and a few other districts in two other states that are monitored under the 1965 voting rights Act must be monitored forever (essentially). They act as if nothing has changed in the US since the 1960s.

But, as the article points out, Mississippi has the MOST elected black officials in the US. Not just the most per capita, but most overall. Even compared to an enormous state like California.

Also, Mississippi has the best turnout of white vs. black voters in the US, while MASSACHUSETTS has the worst.

So, why is it that Misissippi has to get federal court approval for any changes in election procedures or redistricting, but Massachusetts does not?

BTW, Chao no doubt considers herself every bit as much an "American" as the Founding Fathers did on 4 July 1776. Before that date, by-and-large, they considered themselves "Englishmen". After that date they took overt action to become "Americans". Chao took overt action when she went through the naturalization process:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oath_of_Allegiance_(United_Sta tes)

Even though Chao was born in Tawain, she is still ethnically Chinese. Chao was born in Tawain, within the ROC, and not on the mainland, within the PRC; hence, Progress Kentucky's slurring insinuation that Chao has a bias for and is sending American jobs to the PROC is completely unfounded. Now she is a naturalized "American". What is your issue with those facts?

Further, the cited "article" you are criticizing was taken verbatim from wiki. If you have a problem with the grammar in the article, take it up with wiki.
