they were granted political asylum 10 years ago ... that would make the guy in the white cap 9 years old ... evidently the met the requirements to gain citizenship and become permanent residents

He absolutely should receive due process.

But, whether he will or not is a matter of probabilities that are mostly controlled by him. If he surrenders, he will get due process. But if he tries to fight his way out, he will end up like his brother - on a slab.
