reviews of reviews

30 day automatic lock makes sense.

Well if enough of the "right" members comment on a review I suppose it's good for the providers business.

Depending on the reviewer you might also get the guys high fiving each other like they just scored a basket.

Many reviews are dry and hard to read. Without some humorous comments many people wouldn't bother to read them.

I travel a lot for work and over the last year have looked at a lot of the forums from the DC area to texas and I have to say that the houston forum has the largest population per capita of assholes on Eccie. A lot of these guys come on here and post newbie questions or reviews and then get jumped on and never come back.

Most are probably old and just got on the internet in the last year and have no clue how it works. Some are just crappy writers or just not too smart.

Not everyone is like me and doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks of them.

Sounds like a list that needs to be ridiculed!

If you can't find the stickied thread about how to write a review... the Internet may be too hard for you.

If you can't be bothered to read said stickied thread before writing your first review... why do we want you around?

If you've read the stickied thread and can't figure it out... you're probably too stupid for life.

the back and forth banter is both useful and annoying.

Once a review is posted, there should be some limit as to how many days one is allowed to post comments on it.. say.. 5 days? 7?

After that it is locked.

How many times do we see comments on a review (or thread) that is over 30 days?

There should be a limit as to how long the review is open for discussion 7 days should be ideal.....
