I like to use original meanings of word for activities as they are meant to be. I don`t think nowadays courtesans do exist. For the simple reason that there are not many monarchs out there anymore . I think the overuse of words for activities that are out of the original meaning make the definition watery and useless. Maybe I am too strict ? So I tend to agree with Wakeup, although I would use different expression than he does..

All I'm saying is that charging more doesn't MAKE you a courtesan. Today, there are women that get paid top dollar for being JUST an hourly escort. All holes open, never leave the room, and you're out 2K.
Then there are women like myself who have an average price structure, but haven't done a 1-hour appointment in almost two years. Most of my second appointments are dinner dates or day-long excursions.
You can charge what you want and call yourself what you want. In such modern times, you'd think we would take more stock in being ourselves, and letting our presentation speak for itself.
