rants about paki and indian clients

Let's see here, we're in a thread about potentially bashing middle easterners and someone plays the polite society usage card? WTF? Poor 'ol Paula Dean gets popped for something she said 20 years ago, but right now somebody is paying real money to go see Chris Rock say "nigger" 400 times in 2 hours or Shakeel and his Indie/Paki rants or watch exactly how stupid the Wayans think white people are or watch John Wayne slaughter "Injuns" on TMC. So here's the deal: opinions are out, we get our vicarious racism hits through the "entertainment" streams.

So everybody go watch some "comedy" about stanky A-rabs who can't get laid and get this out of their system. We can find other venues to insult all the pakis, push starts, pull starts, mackerel snappers, niggers, wops, kikes, micks, chinks, wasps, spics, fags, ~ze~s (slutty cunts), bluenoses, ice mutants, ossies, frogs, limeys, sand niggers, hineys.....arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrr

I subscribe to the Lenny Bruce theory that the more you use a word the less weight it has. And we all have the right to refuse the weight of a given word when presented with it.

Those are usually my gripes about it.

1) Hygiene is poor - Mainly the curry smell is unbearable
2) Their 3rd World bartering traditions are insulting Originally Posted by ManSlut

It's like calling a Texan a Central American ... Doesn't make to much sense , does it?

It doesn't make sense to see a thread like this degrading a whole race of human beings. But hey, that's just one chick doo opinion.

There are things a Jewish comic can say that other comics of a different ethnicity can't get away with. I'm sorry I had to explain that to you. In civilized societies, people refrain from addressing others with slurs and derogatory terms. Root word being "civil" and all.

I've traveled around the world and bigotry exist in every single culture I've been too. Even when people are the same race, speak the same language, and worship the same god, people find reasons to divide themselves and fight. Just because humans are flawed doesn't mean that we as individuals have to add to the problem.

My $0.02... Any generalizations about race are inappropriate. Culture, however, does determine a lot. My latest ex-wife is Arab (born and raised in Egypt), and the difference between her and her kids is amazing. The divorce happened because of culture, not race - I really like olive skin (a shout out to out Latin providers - like Selina who has treated me well).

That said, I think you miss what he is trying to say. We have gotten to the point in our culture where everyone is looking for an insult where it is not intended. Should I be offended that Notre Dame uses the fighting Irish as their symbol because I have Irish heritage? Are we so sensitive that we can't talk about race? If so, how do we fix any problems?

IMHO, providers have he right to decide the race/culture of their clients. Many may mistake culture for race (ever hear of "white trash" - if this was your only experience with "white people", then would you want to be with them?). Maybe race is an indication of culture? who knows? It could just be attraction (see above about olive skin).

Feel free to bash. it is only my $0.02.
Sorry, one last post, then I am done. IMHO, it is not OK to say that Chris Rock can use the N word because he is AA. Either the word is off-limits or it is not. What does it imply when you use race to justify (or not) racist statements? I dream of the day when we have a color-blind society, and the same standards apply to everyone - oops, I stole that from MLK. Don't be an enabler.
