In Texas, crawfish usually come into season beginning in April through late August, depending on the weather and whether there's enough water where they are raised. Any of the stuff you find now, like the frozen tails, is probably from China. Honorary Cajun here who cooks several hundred pounds of crawfish a year! Nobody's mentioned the cold beer to wash them down!
At heb...theyre whole, already cooked, n frozen.
Just need to be steamed for a few!
I was excited and shocked to see them today )

There was a place on FM306 near 281 called The Boiling Pot that would cook up the Crawfish, Potatoes and corn and drop it on your table and keep it coming as you asked for it. Was pretty darn good. Quite a drive for crawfish though. Haven't been there in a long time. Not sure it's still there.
Ill have to remember that place maxx!

crawfish should start to show up around the end of January to the beginning of February. Willie's Ice House is a good place. I have a connection to them live and the full set up to do a boil (I'm from Louisiana) if anyone would like to host a boil I will cook 'em and bring some cold beer.
Bailey...looks like youve started something!
A bunch of good stuff in the making...centered around food!
Omg...i think my taste buds will have an orgasm!!!
