Okay, well here's my opinion about this thread.
1) Yes, a references is to reassure providers that this client is not LE and that the provider won't be raped, robbed and shorted.
2) Yes, I do think you should give some kind of physical description if they ask. Maybe not tell them all the details about how he knows how to work his tongue, blah blah.
It may be shallow to ask for a description, but it can also be for our safety. If for some crazy reason, a clients account was hacked or LE took it over, I would want to make sure I'm seeing the same guy you gave me a reference for, not some psycho.
Also, about the odor part, and I'll just speak for myself, is good to know. I don't hobby for the money, in fact, I don't even consider this a job.
I'm in no desperate need for money, so when I ask about his hygiene, it's because I don't want someone who never washes his hands sticking his fingers in me.
Point of the story, yes, don't tell them all your details, but just keep on mind, not all the providers NEED the money, so we screen harder and make a few rules for ourselves about the men we see.

No, I have never had a provider contact me after I gave her a reference and after she saw the guy, and complain about me not disclosing that he has BO or hairy balls ... all of the things I mentioned were asked too me when they sent me the initial reference request.

And if she did have the nerve to contact me and complain, I would tell her ass to get another job, ya know one where you don't have to have hairy balls in your face.

It's like a construction worker complaining about getting dirty or a painter who doesn't want to get paint on his clothes.

That's why I have no problem with the way Debbie does it, because she asks her clients herself, she doesn't come whining to me about "is he this or is he that" .... if you want all that personal info, ask your client directly, not me.
