I think it's the excessive force part, while they were fighting she picked up a piece of plastic pipe and started swinging it. One of the girls tackled her and when they fell to the ground the pipe, with it's jagged edge, stabbed into the girls side!

Nothing would make her mother and I happier than to get her out of this all together. The allure of the easy more is hard to overcome though for a young girl with blinders on.
