The past two presidents and the new we have now. I would eat the most expensive items on the list and drink two bottles of there best wine. Then I would stick "THERE ASS" with the bill for once.

Nostradamus - can't be just dumb luck every time
Renee Descartes - mathematician, scientist and philosopher rolled in one - I think; therefore I am.
Shea Veile - you just have to appreciate a gal who, with a whole bunch of skills in her repertoire, can also fix your car - a real Ms. MacGyver

I assume that we somehow conjure away the issue of people who don't speak a common language, no?

To many interesting possibilities. Not sure that I could really nail it down to three. But the some sets of names that come to my mind are:

The Buddha.
His Holiness the Dali Lama.
Bob Thurman, professor of religion at Columbia.

Jesus.
Bertrand Russell.
Bill Moyers.

James Madison
Barbara Jordan.
Benjamin Cordozo.

Lyndon Johnson.
Bill Clinton.
Teddy Roosevelt.

Abraham Lincoln
Mark Twain
My Father

Thomas Jefferson.
Winston Churchill
Machivelli

George Patton
Hanibal
JEB Stewart
Vladimir Lenin
Leon Trotsky
Alexey Rykov

Why? Because Russians and communists are feckin' sexy! Originally Posted by Neotek

A lot of individuals to choose from but here are my 3

Sun Tzu
Abraham Lincoln
Pascal
My paternal great-grandfather (born on a dirt floor and tougher than just about anyone), Wyatt Earp (was the Old West as tough as the stories, or did the Easterners need to feel better about not going West), Leif Eriksson (first European to explore Nort America around 1000 AD).
Jesus Christ, Mohammed & Bahai
Not sure who would say the prayer though
Neo, do you speak Russian...?

My dad - tell him he was right

My grandpa(dads) - a cotton picker on someone elses farm

My grandma(dads) - a cotton picker's wife

Sounds cheesy, but its true, I missed out on my dad's parents and only have vague memories from childhood. But what i can remember and what i hear is that they were amazing people, and think i could have benefited much from knowing them as a young adult. And they raised my dad who is the toughest guy i ever knew. He worked the fields have the year as a child and only went to school for half a year as a result. his hands were rough, scared and leathery from a lifetime of hardwork. Yet he made something of himself and raised a successfull family. He died when i was in highschool.

When he would get onto me about something and i would get mad as hell at him, he would say "Now son, i know your mad and hate me right now, but i'm telling you, when you get older and I'm dead and gone, your gonna think back and say Goddamn, that crazy old man was right"

And he was.

Muhammad Ali, my Father, and my best friend from childhood. Ali and my Father are my heros, and the last choice is obvious.

Oh what an interesting dinner that would be. I admire all three, lots to learn from.
1. The girl of my dreams

2. My college professor (our relationship soured, and would like to make amends)

3. My late brother
