Gas prices are significantly lower, with many areas dropping below $3 a gallon, primarily due to high global oil production from OPEC+ and non-OPEC countries (like the U.S.), weak consumer demand, and the seasonal shift to cheaper winter-blend fuel. Increased oil supplies, combined with reduced driving during winter months, have created a surplus that has driven prices to their lowest levels in years.

Essentially a lot of the mega cold in place has had a affect on gasoline as well w ppl staying home more than not.
