Just wrapped up The Diplomat on Netflix. 3 seasons with 4th green lit. Nice political drama. Keeps you engaged Originally Posted by uchihamadara16

Just finished Beast in Me. Highly recommend although some parts are ridiculously unrealistic lol
Absolutely agree. The only other show I can remember that managed to hook me in such a way was Dark. Hope they manage to conclude this gracefully.

I hope this is as good as the first season.

Usually when there is a lot of time gone by between 1st and 2nd season, in this case ALMOST 10 years (1st season was April to May 2016), the second season is never as good.

Originally this was supposed to be just a limited mini-series.

The first 3 of 6 episodes are up . Next 3 episodes on the 18th, 25th and 1st

Just watched the final episode of season 1 of Last Samurai Standing.

To end it like that with no closure and with no news right now on a season 2, that's just cruel.

I hate it when they did that with TV series too.

End a season with a cliffhanger.

Remember Dallas?

JR gets shot and then we had to wait 4 months to find out who shot JR.

Or NBC Crime Story, end it with the main characters in a plane crash and then the series got cancelled.

Other series that ended the season with a cliffhanger and then got cancelled were Angel, Agent Carter, Lost, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Designated Survivor, Heroes, Southland, The Expanse, Roswell, Popular...

Them studios Fuckers made us invest so much time into their shows and then leave us hanging. Originally Posted by CG2014

I lost interest in Stranger Things a few episodes into season 5. Came back to finish Samurai, which is such a better show.

Season 5 Part 1 of Stranger Things was great.

Then I watched the first episode of Part 2 and lost interest.

It's like night and day difference between everything from the first episode of Season 1 to Part 1 of Season 5, GREAT! and then to Part 2 is WTF?

So I have 3 final episodes of Stranger Things just sitting there I can't bring myself to watch.
TinMan's Avatar
I have about the same number of episodes left. I really wasn’t paying attention to the last episode I watched, so I switched my attention back to Last Samurai Standing and now could care fuck-all if I ever see another minute of Stranger Things.
CG2014's Avatar
I was really hoping for Last Samurai Standing to resolve everything.

I really did not expect it to end with an open ending leaving room for a second season.
TinMan's Avatar
There were enough open story lines that they needed a second season.

That should be it, though. It doesn’t need to go a season too long as was the case with Stranger Things.

Has anyone streamed Netflix Monster:The Ed Gein Story?

It's as graphic and disturbing as anything ever done on Streaming.

I had No Clue who Ed Gein was until 20 years ago when I met a girl with a tatt of Ed Gein on her thigh. He has a cult following especially among Goth Types.

I watched it when it came out in early October and streamed the entire series over a weekend.

Some people who follow Serial Killers claim he only killed two people, only two that they could prove. The evidence in his home proved him to be insane so local Police stopped there.

I watched it again in early December with a girl who knew nothing about him, we only got through 3 episodes and then she had to go. She said she streamed it nonstop when she got home. She's mad at me for telling her about it as she say's she has nightmares and is completely paranoid because she watched it.
Just finished His & Hers on Netflix. Good limited murder mystery series. Didn’t see the end coming. It’s a nice watch.
