Steelers 2024 thread

... Good of you to point this out, mate.

With Pickens - that's exactly what happened!
He runs with his mouth and hand gestures on most every
play, whether he's fouled or not. ... And thus gets
a bad reputation with officials.
Pickens needs to just shut up and play.

... Then, there's Porter jr. ... Another goof who
has his hands ALL OVER the receiving bloke.
It's to the point that HE'S surely getting himself
a bad reputation also.

... However, THAT said - A Win is A Win! ...

I don’t know with Pickens. He’s a certified idiot that will never change.
... Hopefully you're right about Porter's future, mate.
BOTH he and Pickens got some problems - but I'd surely
rather they be on the team then not.

There are dark days ahead. I think they crush the Browns in a revenge match next week, but string 3 losses together afterwards. Maybe they can beat the Shitbirds again on the 21st but they don’t stand a chance against the eagles or chiefs unless the D tightens up significantly.
Chiefs aren't the juggernaut on offense this year as in years past. They've had so many close games and won a few they had no business winning.

Philly in Philly scares me, KC at home doesn't.
Watched Hard Knocks. A little corny raw-raw stuff but some was pretty decent.

... Let's live in the moment - so we don't need to look back
at all the four and five total win predictions.

IF I would have predicted that our lads would WIN the first
Nine (9) of Twelve (12) games - you fellows would have
had me thrown off the site! ...

But, no worrys - as I would have NEVER predicted that. ...

Avenged the Brownies loss. Russ looked decent. Nice to see Cleveland make so many mistakes.

Plus, we're all living in Myles Garrett's head today.

It's a good day. Any day that Cleveland has no shots to make the playoffs is a good day.

Russ gives us a better chance of playoff success than we’ve had for 5-6 years. Doing whatever it takes.
What a great day to be at the stadium! A bonkers crowd, sunny, warm weather for December, and a decisive win to take total control of the division.

Fast Willie, Jason Gildon, Casey Hampton and Dick LeBeau inducted into the Hall of Honor at halftime.

Big fun. Really enjoying this team! Tomlin and Russ make a great combo.
Wow..had to go to page 2 to find this.
Overall shit game. Offense was predictable and the lack of playmakers is obvious. George Pickens, clown that he is, is an obvious talent that we can’t go without. I thought the defense was horrible as well. Bullshit soft zone doesn’t work with good teams. Receivers wide open all day. Then breaking tackles.
And then TJ gets hurt. WTF!
... Still in the game until Nijey does a fumble and loses the ball.
And downhill from there. ... But at least our lads still slipped
into a play-off spot. ...

Who among us even predicted that (maybe Bambino) BEFORE the
season-meet even began??

Being "in the hunt for another Super Bowl" obviously means making the playoffs. No point in playing the silly semantics game. It's impossible to be "in the hunt for another Super Bowl" without making the playoffs, mate.

That was SO bad. Their time of possession for the entire game was like 12 seconds. They’ll be bounced from the playoffs the first round, as usual.
